“Adventure in our backyard” has become an important statement for me, almost a way of life.

I truly believe we don’t have to travel far to experience adventure. Even though I travel a lot, I make a conscious effort to turn my everyday life into one. Adventure isn’t only found in far-off places, it lives in small moments and the way we choose to look at our surroundings.

Traveling with my camper has changed my perspective even more. My home moves with me, and suddenly the backyard is no longer a fixed place, it’s just around the corner. A quiet forest road, a lakeside pull-off, a sunrise I didn’t plan for… these moments remind me that adventure isn’t about distance. It’s about curiosity, presence, and the willingness to see the ordinary as something extraordinary.

Sometimes, the greatest adventures are the ones waiting right outside our door.
