Powerbank for winter road trip

Power solution for cold weather travel, keeping my gear charged on winter Road Trip.

As a photographer, reliable power is essential when I’m on the road. During my recent winter adventure living in my camper in Dolomites, my new power bank made the entire journey so much easier. With a combination of solar panels and portable power, I was able to stay off-grid and keep all my gear charged, even in the middle of winter.

Recently, I teamed up with BLUETTI. They’ve just introduced a powerbank designed and built for winter conditions, made to handle extremely cold temperatures without losing performance. For life on the road, this makes a huge difference. Winter nights can get incredibly cold, especially when I overnight stay in remote places. Having a power bank that can handle the cold and still work perfectly outdoors gives me the freedom to keep exploring, photographing, and living the van life without worrying about power.

I’m really happy to team up with a company like BLUETTI. Their solutions make my everyday life on the road much easier and allow me to stay powered while continuing to explore and work from remote places. For me, it’s not just another product, it’s a truly useful tool that supports the way I live and work on the road, link to Bluetti Pioneer Na Portable + solar kit.

Charging gear without rooftop solar panels
On our current camper, we don’t have solar panels on the roof. In the past, we did, and it helped me a lot when I was traveling and working on the road. As a photographer, especially when I’m working for several days in a row, having reliable power to charge my equipment is absolutely essential.
That’s exactly why this power bank has made such a big difference for me. It gives me the flexibility to keep my cameras, batteries, and laptop charged even when I’m far away from traditional power sources. Electricity at campsites can also be quite expensive, so I really appreciate having this solution. With my power bank and solar panels, I often don’t need to pay for electricity at campsites at all, which makes life on the road both easier and more affordable.
Solar energy is still an amazing solution. In the Dolomites, I was lucky to have many sunny winter days, which makes it easy to recharge the power bank using solar panels. Being able to capture that sunlight and turn it into power means I can stay off-grid longer while continuing to do the work I love.
For life on the road, that kind of independence is priceless

Hi, I’m Cathrine Korsgaard Yde.

I’m a professional sports and action photographer who loves movement and capturing dynamic moments. I also value quiet time to recharge and let my mind wander in nature.

I often explore nature from our van during the off-season, away from the crowds and noise. That balance between action and stillness is where I find my inspiration.
