5 star camping

Settling Down at Caravan Park Sexten

I didn’t just stop at Caravan Park Sexten, I settled.

What was meant to be a short stay, slowly turned into something else.
My winter journey into the Dolomites was meant to be a passage, but nature had other plans.
When I checked-in at Caravan Park Sexten, I stepped into a fairytale. Fresh snow had covered everything overnight. The trees stood heavy and white, the mountains faded into a soft mist, and the world seemed wrapped in silence ….

I often think about road trips as movement, always forward, always exploring, but this time the magic was in staying.
I truly love not making plans. I love waking up without a fixed direction, simply looking outside and deciding based on the sky.

Staying at Caravan Park Sexten in Winter

Caravan Park Sexten is a great place to stay in winter. It’s close to everything. Ski slopes, cross-country tracks, and hiking trails and getting around is easy.

The surrounding nature is stunning, with snow-covered mountains right outside the park. Whether you want to ski, hike, or just relax, it’s a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the area.

The campsite is five-star, featuring a luxury spa area. For me, the nature is the main highlight.

You can easily get around by bus or follow the snow trail that starts just outside the campsite.

One of the highlights of Caravan Park Sexten is definitely the treetop houses. They look incredibly charming as you walk around the campsite, giving the place a unique and cozy atmosphere.

Cathrine Yde

Hi, I’m Cathrine Korsgaard Yde.

I’m a professional sports and action photographer who loves movement and capturing dynamic moments. I also value quiet time to recharge and let my mind wander in nature.

I often explore nature from our van during the off-season, away from the crowds and noise. That balance between action and stillness is where I find my inspiration.
