A Campsite for Nature Lovers
Camping Sass Dlacia located in Alta Badia, Dolomites
This winter, I had the opportunity to camp at Camping Sass Dlacia in the heart of the Dolomites. A place that had captured my attention for so long. I was especially curious to stay at this campsite because nature is one of the main things I look for, when choosing where to stay. What I value most is being close to nature, and not parked in a crowded place and noisy areas.
At Camping Sass Dlacia they have the cutest little cabins with lovely views. I arrived in my camper and stayed in it, even though I had been daydreaming about the cabins.
I parked in a great spot, with a beautiful view of the charming cabins, it felt cozy and peaceful, just perfect for enjoying the surroundings. The campsite is nestled among tall trees and open spaces, giving a wonderful sense of calm and privacy. I could relax and fully appreciate the beauty of nature around me. Even without staying in a cabin, being here felt like a little escape from the everyday, and this stay was reminder of why I love camping in such scenic locations.
Sauna and Wellness at the campsite. The spa features a traditional Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a steam bath, a relaxation room, and a beautiful outdoor garden where you can unwind and recharge.
Cross country skiing next to the camp site
High above the dramatic mountain pass of Passo Falzarego, you can take the iconic Lagazuoi Cable Car. The cable car lifts you to the summit of Lagazuoi at 2,732 meters, where you find the most spectacular panoramic views in the Dolomites. From the summit begins the famous 7.5 kilometer Armentarola run, one of the most scenic ski descents in the region. The slope takes you down to the valley, next to the camp site.
